WIAW #4: Just a Normal Day

WHAT-I-ATE-WEDNESDAY-NEW-BUTTON-PEAS-AND-CRAYONS

Linking up this week with The Big Man’s World

Happy Wednesday! It’s a two-fer kinda day for me, linking up with a couple link ups. I enjoy so much seeing what people are up to and of course what kind of food everyone is eating.

Today has been a decent day so far, the sun is shining so I’m looking forward to walking my dog next. It’s amazing how a little sun can make you feel like summer’s around the corner… And the desperate want for warmer weather, pool time, flip flops, and bare feet. Ahhh…Summer. But spring first, I guess, right?! One day at a time. 😉

Here is what’s on my plate {and in my cup!}

:: First thing in the morning ::FullSizeRender-25

Warm water with lemon.

:: Breakfast ::

1 scrambled egg, 2 slices bacon, 2 mandarins, and a couple spoonfuls of leftover brussel sprouts with coffee {and a little bit of creamer}

:: Lunch ::IMG_8094

This was a leftover chicken salad with mixed greens, cucumber, onion, feta cheese, and a {homemade} balsamic vinaigrette.

:: Snack ::FullSizeRender-21

I think these speak for themselves! Samoas Girl Scout Cookies 🙂

:: Dinner :: FullSizeRender-26Not the prettiest picture, but ya know.

I do want to show you this:

Before & after of the brussels. So so pretty!

What is your favorite thing you have eaten this week?

  1. Ooh I love brussels! especially when bacon is tossed in there 😉 Best thing so far this week… mum’s roast beef! Beautiful – and has been serving my lunches since Sunday #score!

  2. Let me just say, I love your festive tablecloth! And those samosa, they are the BEST girl scout cookies. Those never last long in our house. I will have to make the husband brussels and bacons, because for some reason those are his 2 favorite foods but we haven’t tried them together!

    1. Thanks:) its a bit corny, but ya know! I tried the brussels sprouts and bacon thing on Christmas…loved it! I was really surprised. So I’ve been trying it…I hear it’s good with some balsamic vinegar drizzled on top, too.

  3. I love your festive tablecloth. The shamrocks are so fun! I hate the last of our Samoas last week…sigh. I’ve made so many tasty eats this week that I will be sharing. I just are a mess of creamy mushroom pasta bake.
